How I Got Into Masonry

I joined the Masons because my father and grandfather were Masons, but mostly because my good friend Joe Bennett had joined before me and because of family ties it made sense to do so. That was how I became a Mason, but if I had know now what I knew then, I would have joined much sooner.

What Masonry Means to Me

It's hard to explain what you get out of Masonry. Fellowship, greater understanding, challenges, food, meeting new people and the satisfaction of belonging to an organization which is recognized around the world.

As you should know Masonry is not a religion, but it strengthens my faith and as it is explained to us in the Bible presentation after being raised as a Master Mason; "Read it, study it, and implement in your daily life the precepts contained in it. By so doing, you will merit the title bestowed upon you tonight -- that of a Master Mason."
